Most Frequent Questions

Academy of Cyber Security students don’t have to pay up-front tuition fees. Instead, they can pay for the Academy using an Income Share Agreement (ISA) or a private student loan.

Students can pay their tuition fee up-front too. Tuition pricing starts at £7,500.

An ISA is an agreement between you and the Academy. It removes up-front tuition fees and links your future income to your tuition repayments. You agree to pay the Academy a percentage of your future income over a set period of time. No debt, no interest, and lots of flexibility. If you earn less, you pay back less and you only begin to pay back once earning over £27,000.

We have two ISA arrangements available;

o 10% of income over 48 months
o 15% of income over 36 months

For example, if you get a job paying a salary of £36,000, you’re earning £3,000 per month. 10% of £3,000 is £300, so you pay £300 that month for your ISA.

You make 10% payments on your income every month until you’ve made 48 monthly payments.

If your income ever drops below the threshold of £2,250 per month, you don’t make a payment that month.

If you don’t pay back your ISA agreement after 96 months, it is wiped off completely.

The Academy is delivered entirely online. We run 25 hours of live, instructor-led classes per week.

We have two schedules available. The day-time schedule where students will join live classes from 10am – 3pm.

An evenings and weekend schedule where classes run 6pm – 9pm Mon-Fri, and 10am – 3pm Sat-Sun.

Academy students will be expected to undertake projects and self-study outside of classroom hours. On average, you will be expected to complete 12 hours of self-study & team-based project work per week.

For example, if you get a job paying a salary of £36,000, you’re earning £3,000 per month. 10% of £3,000 is £300, so you pay £300 that month for your ISA.

No, not at all. ISA’s are not counted as debt or loans.

Through our tuition finance partner, we can offer students a private loan to cover the cost of their tuition.

This loan is unsecured and interest is at an average of 10% APR.

The loan can be repaid over 12 – 60 months, depending on what structure you prefer.

Think of car finance. Instead of buying a car, you’re paying for your tuition cost instead.

The Academy of Cyber Security partners with an ISA provider to handle all administration regarding ISAs.

The ISA provider will be in contact with you during your ISA obligation period to make sure your ISA is held accountable.

Open banking technology is used to verify income, so there’s minimal administration needed from you.

We offer a refund policy to students who don’t complete the full course.

This refund policy is on a pro-rata basis and revolves around the modules you have completed before you leave the Academy.

If you complete 50% of the Academy, you will pay back 5%  of your monthly income for 48 qualifying months (halve of the original 10% agreement).

Repayments begin once you are earning above the £27k (£2,250 per month) threshold.

Alternatively, if you do not pay back the ISA instalments within 96 months, the ISA agreement is written off completely.

Academy members are able to become self-employed whenever they choose.

Our ISA provider will request details of your income and annual accounts to calculate your ISA repayments.
